Lark,

Thank you. Yes, you are right. It is going to take changes on both sides. I guess I was starting to get really defensive when I kept hearing that I wasn't meeting H's needs.

No, we haven't been to counseling. H's take on that is what's the point as long as he is involved with someone else? I agreed with him as why spend the time & money when both people are not fully committed?

My H started on anti-dep medication yesterday. I think that maybe his depression made it virtually impossible for him to pursue employment. He is just too emotionally fragile right now to risk another rejection.

So, for now, I am waiting for the medication to kick in. I wouldn't mind expending a lot of time and effort in Plan A, if I felt that he was making some changes too.

And, in small ways, I have seen some positive changes in him. I suppose I just have to focus on the "baby steps" and keep trying to be patient.

Oh, it's soooooo hard sometimes!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That was in my first post on this thread. Surving An Affair does not mean having your spouse quit the affair AND return to the marriage. It is a book to help you get through the devastation an affair can cause.
