I have read all the 3 books you listed - loved all 3 of them! Yes, good idea to exchange info on the books.

I see what you mean about Dr Dobson's tough love being the PlanB. I guess I kinda missed that connection - but yes, it is there. Also, thanks for the "inspiration" - yes, we must do things in the best interests of others and give glory to God. Everyday, I try to remind myslef that God is in charge. But, he is also laying a path and resources for me and I have to be ever watchful for these and use them as He has planned. Thanks!

Yes Dobson is more like PlanB, but I didn't really connect that until these posts. Derby, I did read the Susan Page book, too, and found it really useful. Thanks!

I really did alot of the same things you did. But, I had a lot of the "pathetic" stuff inthere, too. I told him I would stick with him; told him I wouldn't share - it was me or her; told him I loved him and would forgive him. H still sat on the fence for MONTHS! This last time when he came home, I think it was a feeble attempt to "say he tried" but really never had any intention to give up OW. I do agree with your last line...Sometimes nothing works! Feels lie that for me.

POGP, I agree with the opening of the cage door as Dr Dobson puts it. Really, as the others pointed out - it is PlanB. I am there and doing that. H is free to choose to love whomever he wants, and it ISN'T me. YUCK!
