I just got word tonight that my cousin's 15 year old daughter shot and killed herself last night. This whole situation is horrible. My cousin and her h just seperated, my cousin's father, has cancer and is on borrowed time already ! She has 2 other children at home too. Dear Lord, I come before You tonight to ask Your help. Father, I pray that You will give an extra measure of comfort to Bozo's_Deb's cousin and her family. Thank You Lord for being right next to each of these family members as they grieve, comforting them, giving them Your peace. I pray the Holy Spirit will protect them. God please comfort this women and her family in this pain. Help them to pull back into a marriage that calls on your leadership.Please God help the mom and dad in this awlful hurt; help them with their other children. Lord... Please be with this hurting family. They are in the midst of so much pain, and they will need your strength badly during the coming weeks. Please also be with the girl's friends, as they deal with the suicide of a friend. Lord, support this family with your love and care. Help their hearts to heal in time. Father, I ask that You be with each member of this family in this time of terrible sorrow and pain. Let them feel Your presence, Father, holding and comforting each one according to their needs, as they struggle with their loss. Place a wall of protection around them, Father, so that the enemy cannot take advantage of them. I ask this in the name of Jesus. Amen. Deb, I can understand some of what they are going through. I lost my little brother to what was probably suicide six years ago. He was in the early 30's. As hard as that was and still is on our family, the loss of a young child has to be so much more painful. When I read your post, it all came flooding over me like it was fresh. The hurt, emptyness, loss and questions are almost impossible to explain to someone that has not experienced them. My heart is saddened by your loss. IP: Logged |

I wanted to let you all know your prayers have been seen and heard about by members of my family. They have brought much comfort. My cousin is dealing with this situation with Gods help. And God is using this tragady to help heal old wounds and to restore broken relationships with in the family.
