TAKE THE MEDS. They take awhile to catch on, and you may need to adjust your dosage or try a different drug, as they are rather individual in their effects on each person. Don't wait until you are in a crisis and pop one like an Advil and expect results. Please, this is very important. For your son, get on the medication, and make sure it is working for you.

Last anti-dep I took was Trazadone - couldn't wake up - like for DAYS. Was puking in my sleep and out of it. NOT PRETTY.

This anti-dep (different Dr.) is also in the form of a "before bed" pill. Anyone have any experience with Amitryptalene? It's a low dose: 25 mg. I'm just afraid I won't wake up for days. Can't afford that with a 4 year old.

Sorry to change the subject on your thread, Mike. You've been so nice with all your advice and postings on my topics. Maybe we should start a new one? How about Drugs: A Necessary Evil.
