Since the segments range from about 5 to 10 minutes in length, the size of the files will range from about 1 to 2 megabytes.

You can add more download credits by clicking on the "Add More!" link under your name above, or you can go to the "My Account" section and click on the "Purchase additional downloads" link. Of course, you will need to be signed up as a customer and logged in to be able to purchase downloads.

ANSWER:When you find a segment you would like to download, you can download the file by clicking on the button shown below:  .
Clicking on this button will bring up a dialog box similar to the image below:
Choose the Save to disk option to download and save the file locally on your computer. If you choose the Open With option, the file will download and play immediately in the selected program.

If the download of the selected segment was interrupted or incomplete for any reason, complete the form below and include the file number of the segment in question. We will credit your account.

ANSWER:
If you know the date of the show, search for that date. Otherwise, the first name you used, or another key word could get you there using the key word search feature. But we are still in the process of making all past segments available in the archive, and your particular segment might not be ready. They should all be completed by August 2007.

I selected a topic from the Radio Archive and now I don't understand how to activate the segment so I can listen. Where's the play button?
ANSWER:
The way that the radio archive works is that you download a segment to be played on your computer or mp3 player. We do not have a play feature on the archive itself (as you've noticed).
